I so badly want Vico to be that cool place of rare beauty that exists in my mind. But every time it gets me. Those horizons stacked full of raw ocean, and dusted by stiff offshores fall upon the world's worst geology, and I go home with nothing besides a sore throat, general loathing for fellow man and the words resounding, 'never again'

And then a day like this comes along.
